4. Engagement billing and payment

Bit Bookkeeper does not offer public, self-service purchase of professional services through this website. After an applicable written agreement is executed, Bit Bookkeeper may issue an invoice and provide an authorized billing contact with a unique Stripe Hosted Invoice Page link.

The applicable written agreement, together with any incorporated proposal, order form, or invoice, governs the scope, fees, deposits, due dates, payment methods, expenses, taxes, cancellations, credits, and refunds. Paying an invoice does not create, expand, renew, or modify an engagement. If website information or an invoice conflicts with an executed agreement, the executed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.

Before paying, the client should confirm that the invoice matches the intended client or entity, engagement, amount, and due date. A payment remains pending until the payment processor reports it as successful and Bit Bookkeeper can reasonably reconcile it to the invoice. Failed, delayed, disputed, or reversed payments are handled under the applicable agreement and law. Contact Bit Bookkeeper before paying an unexpected or inaccurate invoice.

5. Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, branding, guides, and original materials are owned by Bit Bookkeeper or used with permission. You may print or save a resource for internal reference. You may not republish, sell, remove attribution from, or represent the materials as your own without written permission.

6. Third-party services and links

The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including Stripe-hosted invoice and payment pages. Bit Bookkeeper does not control their availability, content, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms.

7. Availability and disclaimers
